August Happenings
One more month of summer and we have so much fun ahead!! Hopefully our weather will hold out and we can enjoy more outside activities. The sun has played tricks on us up to now. Please note the calendar on the back for some special visitors on Tuesday, August 11 and Tuesday, August 18th!! All are invited on those days, even if your children do not usually attend on TuesdaysJ Our older group will be spending time at the Hackettstown pool every Tues, Wed, and Thurs., the last pool day will be August 27th.
The last “formal” week of our summer program will be the week of August 24th. The following week, August 31 through Sept. 4th , we will be open for childcare only. Most of our older group will start school on Wednesday, September 2. We wish them much success in the upcoming school year. Our Pre-K and Preschool classes will start on Tuesday, September 8th and Thursday, September10th. We will have an open house for Pre-K students and their families on Wednesday, September 2nd and Thursday, September 3rd for Preschool students and their families. All students will receive an invitation from either Mrs. Hourihan or Miss Jenna. |
Hello to Fall/Goodbye to Friends
It is always a bit difficult to say goodbye to friends who will be moving on after the summer is over. We will celebrate together, one last time on Monday, August 24th from 10:00-3:00. We will supply lunch for all children, (hot dogs/chips/ice cream), along with
games and prizes and fun
activities. Please feel free to send your child during this
time, even if they don’t come on Mondays.
Thanks to all of our children and parents for making 2008-2009 a terrific year! Your generosity and support are greatly appreciated !!!
