August Happenings
One more month of summer and we have so much fun
ahead!!
Our older group will be spending time at the
Hackettstown pool every Tues, Wed, and Thurs.,
the last pool day will be August 25th.
Our middle group and littles are going into our
sprinklers and wading pools each afternoon.
Sometimes we are playing with bubbles and water
toys. Please remember to send in a bathing suit,
towel and plastic bag for their wet suits. Also,
SUNSCREEN is a must on these hot, sunny days and
some families need refills.
Please don’t forget that Wednesdays are
Show and Tell day! The calendar on the back
shows the theme of the week.
The last “formal” week of our summer program
will be the week of August 22nd. The
following week, August 29th through Sept. 2nd,
we will be open for
childcare only. We will still be doing fun
projects and having water fun out side!! That
week makes August a 5 week month for full time
students.
Our Pre-K and Preschool classes will start on
Wednesday, September 7th and
Thursday, September 8th. We will have an Open
House for Pre-K parents and their children on
Wednesday, August 31 and for Preschool on
Thursday, September 1. All students will receive
an invitation from either Mrs. Hourihan or Miss
Jenna.

Fall Registrations
If you have not filled out a
re-registration paper for the fall please see Mrs. Hourihan as
soon as possible. You should have also informed Great Meadows
transportation office if your child will be riding to and/or
from LLC during the school year. Any questions, please see Mrs.
Hourihan.
Hello to Fall/Goodbye to Friends
It is
always difficult to say goodbye to friends who will be moving on
after the
summer is over. This year our Miss Meghan is going to college.
Her last day is August 5th.
We will truly miss her and wish her the very best of luck!
