Happy Holidays!!! We are going to have lots of
fun in December. Please make time to enjoy the
holidays because your children surely will. Thank you to all of our Pre-K parents for their generous donations for our Thanksgiving Feast. The children did a super job and the feast was a huge success. We will
be focusing on two holidays celebrated in
December: Hanukkah and Christmas. If you would
like to come in any time during our day and read
a story or share a tradition
please
let Mrs. Hourihan know.
Both the
Pre-k and the Preschool will celebrate the
holidays with a holiday party. Please check the
calendar on the other side of this newsletter
for the dates of their parties. Each child
should bring a wrapped
book
($3.00 or less) to put in a grab bag for the
party. Mark on the front if the book is for a
boy/girl/ or either. This helps us make sure
that everyone is happy. There will be sign ups
by the front door for goodies for the parties.
JUST A
THOUGHT…… Times
are tough for people in our area and we would
like to continue with our annual monetary and
food collection to help others in their time of
need. If you were going to give presents to the
teachers, how about a donation instead?
A donation of food
or toys to our local food pantry would also be a
great gift. We will collect any donations at the
front desk and deliver then to the Hackettstown
food pantry before Christmas. Thank you.

School closing and delays Here are the ways you can find out if school is closed or delayed:
*** New this
year: We
will also be able to send a group text to anyone who has given
Peter your cell phone carrier (ie. Verizon, etc) He needs both
the carrier and the phone number if you want to be added to this
group text service. Please note on the
calendar that we will be closed the day after Christmas, Dec. 26th.
The rest of the week we will be open for Childcare ONLY. Sign up
is necessary if your child will attend any or all of those days.
REMINDERS…….PLEASE NOTE!!! ** We try to go outside
every day. Please send warm coats and hats/gloves every day. Our
children need fresh air and to run aroundJ *** Please label everything!! We have markers
if you need to write your child’s name on anything. **** Those children who sleep should bring
their nap stuff home every Friday and back on Monday morning. A Happy and Healthy 2012 to all of our LLC Families and Friends!!!! Please check the calendar frequently!! “The whole purpose of education is to turn
