A Happy and Healthy 2009!!!
Happy New Year to each and every one of you. We hope you enjoyed the holidays and spent some “quiet” time together with family and friends.
Thank you for all of your wonderful gifts and well wishes. You were very kind to me and to all of our teachers; your thoughtfulness means so much!! We especially love the cards and pictures of your children! The pictures will stay up all year.
Thank you also for the generous donations of money and food to the Hackettstown Food Pantry. I delivered the food and gave them just over $260.00 and they were very grateful.
A New Year brings us both hope and challenges: we hope to entice your children to do their best and then challenge them to do even better! We want your children to feel comfortable and confident each and every day. We also hope that we can work even closer with you, our parents, to develop an even stronger foundation for your children to build on. Together, our Liberty Learning Center family will succeed!! |
PRESCHOOL Our Preschool is ready for some more directed work. We will be tying in fun with letters and numbers along with developing better listening skills. We need to work on large muscle skills and patterns with our 3 year olds too. As always, manners are a focus we would like to work on both at home and at school. As you are probably aware, Miss Barbara will be having a baby sometime in April. We are so happy for her and her family. Miss Jenna will be replacing Miss Barbara when she leaves. Miss Jenna is currently working on finishing her certification as a Preschool teacher and already has the hours of experience completed! We are very lucky to have her. REMINDERS *If you have questions regarding your child’s eating habits, please ask. If your child’s lunch is coming home uneaten, maybe you should try another kind of lunch. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you are concerned.
*If you have questions about snow days, please call our main number after 6:00 am. Again, we follow the Great Meadows School decisions. We will try our best to be open every snow day and hope you understand that we must put the safety of our children and staff first. If Great Meadows has a delayed opening, our Preschool and Pre-k classes will be from 10:30 until 12:30.
