Spring is on its Way!!

I don’t know who will be happier when the warm weather is finally here to stay, the children or the teachers. We need to get out and play!!!

During this month of March we will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Please note the dates of both the Preschool and the Pre-K parties. There will be a sign up sheet by the front door soon.

Hopefully everyone has taken re-registration material. Please be aware that all registration forms must be back by March 31st. We will not be able to hold a place for anyone without a re-registration form.

You will see on the Summer Form that there are two choices for attendance. Please try to be sure of the dates your children are attending. We will schedule teachers around the number of children attending to allow for teacher vacations.

St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital

For the past 5 years we have sponsored a Trike-A-Thon to raise money for St. Jude’s Hospital. During the last week of March we will hold our 6th Trike- A- Thon. You will be receiving a packet which explains how you can contribute. You are under NO obligation to donate. However, every child will participate in the trike –a- thon. Our back room will be the “course” and we will supply the “trikes”. We will keep a record of how many times each child goes around the course (max. is 10 times). If you have any questions, please ask Mrs. Hourihan.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

FOR ALL PARENTS

It has come to our attention that some parents are leaving children and babies in cars, alone,  while “running” in to pick up children attending Liberty Learning Center. A few parents, we have noticed, even leave their motors running during this time.

We do understand how busy you are. However, we are concerned about the well being of all children. Anything can happen and we need to protect you and your children.

If you need our help in this matter let us know. We will work with you so that your children are NEVER left alone in your car. This is just not a practice we can allow.

Also, as of December 1, 2001, Children up to age 8 or 80 pounds must ride in a safety or booster seat. Please be sure to follow this law.

FROM THE BUSINESS OFFICE

Yearly tax forms are out. If you have not received yours, please ask at the desk.
