Spring is on its Way!!

            We are all looking forward to Spring and the warmer weather! It has been a tough winter, but there is light at the end of the rainbowJ. We will be celebrating the beginning of spring and St. Patrick’s Day this month. Look for sign ups and the children should wear GREEN!

            Our play ground is still damp and there are some muddy spots. We are doing our best to keep the children away from them, but please do not send your child in new shoes. We will change their shoes if need be.

            This month or next we will be saying goodbye to Miss Barbara. We will all miss her but are SO happy for what (who) she will be busy with. We wish her luck and lots of happiness and we thank her for being such a great Preschool Teacher.

           

St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital

For the past 7 years we have sponsored a Trike-A-Thon to raise money for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. During the last week of March we will hold our 8th Trike- A- Thon. You will be receiving a packet which explains how you can contribute. You are under NO obligation to donate. However, every child will participate in the trike –a- thon. Our back room will be the “course” and we will supply the “trikes”. We will keep a record of how many times each child goes around the course (max. is 10 times). If you have any questions, please ask Mrs. Hourihan.

 

REMINDERS

 

  • All re-registration and summer registration packets were due on Monday, March 2rd. .Please remember that every child must be re-registered to hold a place for the summer and/or fall  programs.

  

  • We do have a snack list by the front door if you would like to donate a snack for your child’s group. We appreciate your generosity.
     

  • Please do not allow your child to bring toys in to school.
     

  • All children in Preschool and Pre-K should have extra clothes in their cubbies. If your child borrows clothes from LLC, please return them promptly.
     

  • Please be careful when pulling in and out of the parking lot. We have busses many times during the day and children will be walking to and from those busses. Remember: the bus always has the right of way.
     

  • Please do not let your children go out the door and into the parking lot without you. It is very dangerous & no child should open the door!!

 

 

Please check the calendar frequently!!
