Spring is on its Way!! We are all looking forward to Spring and the warmer weather! Our new playground looks so lonely without any children on it. March will be a very busy month so please keep your March calendars handy (on the back of this newsletter) because there have been some changes from the yearly calendar. On Friday, March 14th we will be going to Warren Haven for the annual Egg Hunt. All parents/children and siblings are welcome. Bring a basket to collect eggs. We will only bus our childcare students and they must fill out a permission slip. All of our children will be attending – NO Preschool classes that day. Easter is on March 23 so Liberty Learning Center will be closed on Good Friday, March 21. Because of the holiday, we will not have classes on Monday, March 24 but will be open for childcare.
St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital
For the past 6 years we have sponsored a Trike-A-Thon to raise money for St. Jude’s Hospital. During the last week of March we will hold our 7th Trike- A- Thon. You will be receiving a packet which explains how you can contribute. You are under NO obligation to donate. However, every child will participate in the trike –a- thon. Our back room will be the “course” and we will supply the “trikes”. We will keep a record of how many times each child goes around the course (max. is 10 times). If you have any questions, please ask Mrs. Hourihan. |
REMINDERS · All re-registration and summer registration packets were due on Monday, March 3rd. This is a change from the yearly calendar. Please remember that every child must be re-registered to hold a place for the summer and/or fall programs. · FYI: Our summer program will feature a karate class along with gymnastics and a cooking class. We are looking for one more special class if you have any ideas. · We do have a snack list by the front door if you would like to donate a snack for your child’s group. We appreciate your generosity. · Please do not allow your child to bring toys in to school. · All children in Preschool and Pre-K should have extra clothes in their cubbies. If your child borrows clothes from LLC, please return them promptly. PIZZA PLEASE - PLEASE - PLEASE Make sure you sign your child up for Pizza and send in the money BEFORE 11:00 on Fridays. Mrs. Hourihan orders the pizza at 11:00 so that it arrives by 12:00. She orders for the amount of children on the list and hopefully that will match the amount of money she has! Paying after the fact does not help the Friday order. Thanks! |
