A very Happy Mothers Day to our Moms and Grandmoms

        

May Happenings

We’ll start our month with a celebration of Moms! Our Mother’s Day festivities will be full of joy for Pre-k and Preschool alike. The children love to show their moms how very much they love them!

 

Our Pre-K Mother’s Day tea will be held on Wednesday, May 7th at 10:00. Please don’t bring a thing - just come and enjoy!  Our Preschool class will be making special gifts for Mom and presenting them on Friday May 9th at 11:45; kindly join us for a short ceremony.

 

   LLC’s  annual Class Trip to The Land Of Make Believe will take place on Tuesday, May 20th from 9:45 until 1:30 (rain date May 23th).  Order forms for tickets are attached to this news letter. You may order as many tickets as you like. Siblings and friends are welcome. There are two important notes:

           1) ALL children three years and younger MUST have a parent (or guardian) come along. There will be no exceptions.

         2) Only Childcare students may ride the bus. Those children must have a signed permission slip. All others should meet us with their parents/guardians at the front gate at 9:45.

 

All children should bring a bag lunch and drink and plenty of sunscreen!! (We eat a bagged lunch because spending time on line at the food concession stands takes away from time on the rides!!!!).

 

Liberty Learning Center T-shirts will be available for sale before the Land of Make Believe Trip. Please look for order forms soon.

  

Changes

We welcome Mrs. Barbara Ann Smith/Beto to our staff. “Miss Barbara” will now not only be helping out with the Preschool on M-W mornings, but will also fill in for Miss Lauren, who has gone back to her previous employer who needed her help for the spring and summer. Barbara will be here Tuesday afternoons and also Thursday and Friday with the preschool.

Liberty Learning Center is now a member of the “Strengthening Families Program”, a program devoted to building up families through education and community.

REMINDERS

Monday, May 12 is child care only. Great Meadows school is closed that day.

 

Memorial Day Holiday: Liberty Learning Center will be closed on Monday May 26th.

 

Graduation for our Pre-K Class is Wednesday, June 11th at 10:00. This is also the last day of classes for the Pre-k

 

Promotion Day for our Preschool is Friday, June 13th at 10:00. This will be the last day of classes.

 

The Summer session starts on Monday, June 16th. Paper work should be in for any child who plans to attend.

       

          A SPECIAL THANK YOU   

Thank you to all of the parents for your generous donations to our Trike-A-Thon. I am very proud to say we have sent $3000.00 dollars to St. Judes  hospital..
