Thank You ALL!!!! Your contributions to our
Halloween parties are always so generous! The
children love all of the goodies (and the
teachers snack too!). A special thank you to all who signed up to help us at the Preschool and Pre-K parties. We always have a great time.
School Pictures:
School pictures are
Monday, November 7th.
The photographer will send
your child’s picture back, before Christmas.
This year you will need to pick what kind of
background for your child’s picture. There will
be forms on Mrs. Hourihan’s desk before the 7th.
After the pictures come back, you can look
through the packet and decide if you want the
whole packet or any of the pictures. Please
return them as so as possible after you receive
them. If you do not want any you must return the
whole packet. There is NO prepayment required.
PRESCHOOL 11/10 & 11/11 On Thursday and Friday
November 10th and 11th
On picture
day, Monday, November 7th,
please
bring your preschooler to school for about 45
minutes. If you arrive promptly at
PRE-K Thanksgiving Feast On November 23rd we will have
a short play and the
annual
LLC feast with our Pre-K class and their parents.
We invite all parents of Pre-K children
to join us on that day. We will also ask for
donations of food. The children will be
designing table decorations. Mrs.Hourihan will
supply the turkey. Please look for the sign up
sheet soon.
FYI: Unfortunately, because of lack of space, we ask only the parents (or two family members) join us. We also request ……No
siblings.
PLEASE REMEMBER:

All kindergarten students who regularly
attend Pre-K in the morning will not be involved in our
Thanksgiving Feast. They have a half day that day and will be
leaving for Kindergarten early. Parking is always a problem during special days at LLC. Please be sure NOT to block the driveway that leads to the back of our school. Hopefully you will be able to park across the street…if they finish their parking lot. The teachers will move their cars to the back so you can park on the side of school too.
Pre-K Show and Tell Please try to remember show and tell days. Your
child is missing out when they do not have something to share. S
& T will always be on Wednesday. (Also, for Wednesday, November 9, please send
in a word from a box top, book, newspaper that is familiar to
your child…e.g. Cherios)
BEFORE
& AFTER SCHOOL GROUP
Please make sure to sign
your child up if he/she is going to attend LLC on both Thursday
and/or Friday, Nov. 10 & 11. Also we will need to know if your
child is attending for the Half Day/Conference Days,Nov.16,17
and 18. All of the Great Meadows Regional schools will have half
day sessions on those days. We need to schedule enough teachers
on those half days so please sign up in advance!!!!!
REMINDERS **Please send warm
coats for your children to go outside with. Their name should be
on every item you send in. If you do no want your child to go
outside, please let the teachers know in the morning and we will
keep them inside. ** There is a snack sign up list by the front door each month. If it is your child’s birthday, please let us know on the snack sign up. If you would like to bring in snack/juice on any day, we thank you.
