Welcome to our 2011-2012 Liberty Learning Center school year! Hopefully everyone had a great summer.

Every month our LLC newsletter will be filled with important information. There will be a calendar on the back of each newsletter. Please keep these newsletters handy so your child doesn’t miss any fun.

Daily Routines

Every family should be able to sign their child up using our new fingerprint system. We will have a sign in/out sheet right next to the new system and ask you to use both for the first few weeks (just as a precaution). Please ask if you have any questions!!!

Please remember to look in your child’s mailbox everyday for information and projects. The Before and After school children have mailboxes in the hallway by the kitchen. Take the time to check them each day. Also check the front board daily.

Our after school program will be run by Mrs. Strathern and Miss Lauren P. Please let them know if you have any concerns. They will bring the children outside after snack (when the weather is nice) and then bring them in for “Homework Club”. If you do not want your child to do his/her homework at that time just let them know.

Book Club

Starting in mid September, we will be handing out papers for the Scholastic Book Club. There are many reasonably priced children’s books offered every month. You are not required to purchase books. However, please look through the monthly order sheets. Each book you buy gives our school a number of bonus points that allow us to receive free books and DVDs.

We have an account at Scholastic so now you can order books on line. If you wish to do so you can activate an account with the password:     HV4JQ

If you have any questions, please see Miss Jenna.

Bookmobile

The Warren County bookmobile will visit us every other Friday afternoon starting in mid September. Remember, the books at LLC.
