Welcome back Welcome to our 2009-2010 Liberty Learning Center school year -hopefully everyone had fantastic summer!! Each month our LLC newsletter will be filled with important information. Pre-K - our 4/5 year old class, Preschool – our 2/3 year old class and B/A classes will have their own sections. Our weekly themes will be on the calendar.(see reverse side). Please keep these newsletters handy so your child doesn’t miss out on any fun. Our code has not changed yet. We are having trouble with getting the new one to work but when we do you will get a copy of it. If you need the number, see Mrs. Hourihan. Please do not give this code to anyone. We will open the door for “special pick-ups”. You should have received a form for our student directory. Please read it and return it to Mrs. Hourihan as soon as possible even if you do not want your child included. Please remember that each child in a childcare/preschool between the ages of 2 to 5 must receive annual influenza vaccinations. New students when entering childcare/preschool must also receive a pneumococcal vaccine at their two year old check up. Please make sure to bring in an updated immunization report as soon as your child receives his/her vaccines. Attached to this newsletter is a list of our teachers and the groups they will work with. Please feel free to contact any one of them if you have a question or request.

Please remember to look in your child’s mailbox everyday for information and projects. The Before and After school children have mailboxes in the hallway by the kitchen. Take the time to check them each day. Also check the front board daily. Book ClubStarting in mid September, we will be handing out papers for the Scholastic Book Club. There are many reasonably priced children’s books offered every month. You are not required to purchase books. However, kindly look through the monthly order sheets. Each book you buy gives our school a number of bonus points we use towards books for our library. Order forms will be in your mailbox. Orders are due by the 25th of the month. There will be a box on Mrs. Hourihan’s desk for your order and check. (Make checks payable to Scholastic Book Club) No Cash please! Speaking of books……… Every other Friday afternoon from 2:00-3:00 the Warren County Bookmobile will be visiting our school. Any child that is present on Friday may go into the “traveling library” and pick a book. We will keep this book at school and share it with all of the children during the week.
