Summer News                               Summer 2007  is off to a great start !

 

All three groups (younger 2-4 year olds), (middle 5+) and (older-school age) are having fun. Miss Jamie is doing a wonderful job of keeping all ages busy and interested in her themes for the week. Please read the front board each day to see what your child is doing. And don’t forget to check mailboxes for neat projects.(or look around!!)

 

The children will be going outside a lot so please remember to send them in each morning with sunscreen on! And don’t forget water bottles, bathing suits and towels. Also, every child should have an extra change of clothes for accidents and spills.

 

Every day our schedule is as follows:

  • 7-10   Breakfast/quiet play/free play

  • 10-12 Projects/songs/games/outside

  • 12-1  Lunch/clean up/naps for littles

  • 1-3/4    Pool  side/snacks 
    Hackettstown Pool for olders T-Th

  • 5-7  Stories/movies/quiet free play

         Clean up

       And always lots of fun!!

 

  

Liberty Learning Center

Special Events!!!!

 

***** Older children, 5 years and up, will have the opportunity to go to the Mansfield Theater on rainy days. Unfortunately, we will never know far in advance so look for sign ups on rainy days. We will not go every rainy day but will try a few times during the summer.

 

**** THE LIZARD GUYS will be at school on July 9th. All are invited for the show at 1:00 pm.

 

**** “The Star Lab” will be at Liberty Learning Center on Monday July 23rd. It is a great indoor planetarium and all children are invited. Look for more information coming.

 

**** Every Friday is special at LLC. We will be pool side/sprinkler fun and plain old water play on Friday mornings. Please send your child in his/her bathing suit with sunscreen on. Also, we have a pizza- picnic outside so don’t forget to sign up for pizza.

 

**** August 20th  BIG JEFF will be here to entertain us with stories and songs. All are invited.

 

**** Before you know it, it will be summer’s end. Please know that ALL are invited to our End of the Summer Celebration on Thursday, August 23.
